President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko predicts that the economy will reach the pre-sanctions level next year. He said this at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, BelTA reports.

"We are solving all these issues. Both small and large ones. You are right. They tried to bend us tightly - it didn't work. On the contrary, somehow we mobilized even unexpectedly. I know and for you, and I didn't expect that we could withstand. Yes, we live a little bit poorer, just a little bit. I think that next year will be a good year for us, and we will reach the pre-sanctions period of our economy. In small details, all the issues, starting with the military-industrial complex and other issues related to the Ukrainian conflict - all these issues have been practically resolved. If there is something left, we know in which direction to move," said the head of the Belarusian state.

As for the integration cooperation, Alexander Lukashenko noted that officials of both countries have done a good job fulfilling the instructions of the heads of state. "More than 80% of the tasks we set for the governments have been accomplished. There are three more months (we are talking about the work on the main directions of implementation of the provisions of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State for 2021-2023 and 28 union programs. - BELTA note). I think we will finish these issues as well," the President added.
