Alexander Lukashenko to hold official talks with Azerbaijani President

The President of Belarus has gone on a state visit to Azerbaijan. In Baku, Alexander Lukashenko will hold official talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The meeting of the two leaders will be held in a one-on-one and extended format with the participation of members of the delegations. The Presidents will consider the topical issues of bilateral relations with a focus on expanding trade and economic ties in various sectors and developing cooperation in industry and agriculture.

Another topic of the talks will be cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan on international platforms and in integration associations. The heads of state will discuss the situation in the region and in the world as a whole. A package of bilateral documents will be signed following the talks. In Baku, Alexander Lukashenko and Ilham Aliyev are also expected to visit the Azerbaijani international agricultural exhibition Caspian Agro, where they will familiarize themselves with the expositions of Belarus and Azerbaijan - the implementation of joint projects in the agro-industrial complex.

This is the largest exposition in the Caucasus. Along with the Inter Food Azerbaijan forum, it reveals the country's non-oil potential. Belarus is among the 38 participating countries. The companies directly present their export potential and look for possible partners.
