The United States is preparing a new plan for Ukraine, which will last for 10 years. The Washington Post reports that the White House will unveil it in the spring.
The new strategy emphasizes defense. There is no longer any talk of a counteroffensive. Now the states plan to support short-term military operations, and in the long term to bring the AFU to a more sustainable level. A key condition will be the allocation of 61 billion dollars to Kiev, which Biden previously requested from Congress. The new strategy also implies active assistance from the UK and France.
