At least 22 people were killed as a result of an Israeli army airstrike on the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, BELTA reports with reference to Al Jazeera TV channel.
Among the dead there are women and children. It is reported that many people still remain under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
Israel also struck the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central part of the Gaza Strip, killing five people, including three children.
Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said that over the past 24 hours in Gaza killed 297 people and more than 550 wounded, bringing the death toll since the start of the war on October 7 to more than 18,000 people, most of them women and children, injured nearly 50,000. According to revised data, the death toll in Israel is 1,147 people.
