Gazeta Wyborcza reports that Polish business is demanding that the authorities open the eastern border for goods and people. The restrictions imposed by the government cause tangible economic damage to the country as a whole and border regions in particular.
The business union "Unification of the East" sent a sharp letter to the Sejm demanding that the unjustified restrictions be abandoned. According to businessmen's calculations, the tourism industry alone loses 125 million euros annually because of the government's ill-considered measures.
