Chairman of the State Security Committee of Belarus Ivan Tertel told about it from the tribune of the Belarusian People’s Congress.
The agency records attempts to recruit Belarusian citizens and the establishment of terrorist training centers in the territory of neighboring countries. The number of attempts to smuggle weapons and explosives into Belarus has increased.
Ivan Tertel:
“The plans being implemented with regard to our country are not some kind of know-how. The materials of the KGB archives show that the methods used are the old ones, finalized taking into account modern realities. I will outline some details. In Vilnius, Warsaw, Kiev, other capitals and regions of Western states, following the example of Hitler's Germany, puppet structures are being formed, involved in projects to overthrow the current government.”
