7 мая 2013

It will be implemented not only by public but also private enterprises. President Alexander Lukashenko stated this while laying a capsule of the first rental house of a new city quarter under a thematic name Magister, because young scientists and talented young people will live here. Providing them with rental housing is a kind of direct support of the state and a desire to create favorable starting conditions for the future scientific elite of the country.
The deadline is July 3, 2015. The fact that rental housing will eventually become a priority in the country’s housing industry was stated by the President at the meeting with the students and teachers of the Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University.
Artists of the Yanka Kupala Theater also asked the President for help in solving the most pressing housing problem. Alexander Lukashenko attended the opening of the theater and spoke with the creative elite. Before that the question was raised by the students of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics.
The necessary instructions were given. From now on, housing will be built not only by the state, but also by private enterprises. For instance, the High-Tech Park will built rental houses for its employees this year.
This year 5 rental houses must be put in commission. More than 2500 apartments will be built in the Master quarter for young scientists.
Within the five-year period over 1 million square meters of rental housing will be built in Belarus. Only the most demanded experts will be provided with housing. In Minsk up to 30% of rental housing will be given, for example, to public transport drivers, nurses and other young staff in short supply.
According to the Head of State, the experience of rental housing construction will soon be taken up by the regions.
