There should be no anti-Belarusian materials in the Russian media space by default - Korotchenko

There should be no any anti-Belarusian materials in the Russian media space by default. This was stated by Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the magazine "National Defense", Russian journalist and military expert, on March 28 in Moscow at the international scientific-practical conference "Union State in a multipolar world", BelTA reports.

"Certainly, we have encountered earlier, in the previous period, when certain forces tried to use the Russian media space for anti-Belarusian, let's say, operations. In this case, I can support my Belarusian colleagues: we should take a unified approach here. No anti-Russian publications and anti-Russian materials in the media are possible in Belarus. Likewise, we need to ensure that there are no anti-Belarusian materials in the Russian media space, no matter who they are and no matter how they are justified, by definition. Because our Western opponents and that part of the Belarusian opposition, which is actually on the path of state terror against the Belarusian people and the Republic of Belarus, are behind it," said Igor Korotchenko.

He also stressed that the Belarusian-Russian example of harmonization of anti-terrorist law should be used as much as possible in the post-Soviet space, especially within the CSTO.
