The West continues to form not a defensive, but an offensive fist at the borders of Belarus. This opinion was shared by the deputy head of the President’s Executive Office. Vladimir Pertsov emphasized that the Military Doctrine and the National Security Concept, adopted at the seventh Belarusian People's Congress, are extremely relevant documents, and told how important it is to have such a broad discussion of these strategic documents for the country.
On the eve of the Belarusian People's Congress important strategic documents were adopted, real facts of the threats we face were voiced. Therefore, there is no doubt why the Belarusians unanimously approved the National Security Concept and the Military Doctrine.

“Observing what is happening on the perimeter of our country, the head of state appealed to conscious citizens to be vigilant. Special services, law enforcement agencies are doing everything possible to ensure security, but the threat is coming from the entire perimeter - from the west, from the south. We are watching what is happening now on the geopolitical map of the world - tectonic changes, hot spots that are emerging in the Middle East and Ukraine. Therefore, we must take all measures and develop strategic documents.”
