Quality of election administration got higher - observer from Germany

25 февраля 2024

Unanimity, quality organization, high turnout and a wonderful atmosphere. So characterize the single day of voting international observers.

Oliver Schneemann, independent international observer (Germany):

I was already in Belarus as an observer at the elections in 2019. And now I see that the quality of the elections has increased. And it is really visible. I am here because I can see that the coverage in the Western press does not correspond to the reality that I see here with my own eyes. At the moment the Western European policy is unfriendly to Belarus, and that's why I believe that the people's policy is very big and important. And I am making great efforts, both politically and socially, to publicize the situation in Belarus more for Germany.

"One thing I see everywhere is a sense of celebration. As children perform throughout the schools (such children are wonderful), and those who sit at the tables, and those who come - there is unanimity. And this is the most important thing for people to come to the polling stations and vote. Because now the future of Belarus is being determined, and it should be beautiful. Belarus is beautiful, and its future will be beautiful," said Nikolai Burlyaev, an international observer from the CIS mission.
