Official Minsk and Astana understand each other well - both politically and economically. At the end of last year, the trade turnover between the countries amounted to more than a billion dollars. But this is not the final figure, taking into account the potential of the states, Alexander Lukashenko said.
"Our meeting with you is taking place for a reason. You know very well that, most likely, in the third quarter, the president of Kazakhstan will come to Belarus on an official visit. It is also very important for us today to stipulate some points of the important event for Belarus," Alexander Lukashenko said.
The Belarusian leader said that the talks will be held at the highest level and all interested parties will meet within the framework of the visit. "I'm sure that the billion dollars, which we have achieved in trade turnover, will be just ridiculous after this visit," said Lukashenko. - Because of such a potential of the country. According to him, such states as Belarus and Kazakhstan should have the most advanced relations.
"We have good joint ventures with you to produce combines, tractors, elevators. There are plans to further promote our technologies and create joint ventures on their basis in Kazakhstan, Belarus.
