The two-day international conference "Eurasian security: reality and prospects in a transforming world" ended in Minsk. It was attended by more than 30 countries and hundreds of experts and politicians. Representatives of both the West and the East gathered in one hall. The topic of international security today concerns literally everyone.

Maybe such events are the first step to build an interstate dialog at least at the level of civil society and expert-analytical centers? Andrei Mamykin, Latvian politician, ex-member of the European Parliament, expressed his opinion on this issue in the project "Question Number One": "Undoubtedly, such platforms are a huge plus in establishing a dialogue and not only between cultural and expert communities. In general, peacemaking and the creation of new dialogue platforms have become part of the political culture of Belarus."

Three foreign ministers, several vice-ministers took part in the conference on Eurasian security, there were messages from the head of the Belarusian state, from the Chinese foreign minister.

Almost one hundred and fifty participants on the first day alone. This is already really high-level politics. And beyond any doubt, this meeting will not go unnoticed, it is a very solid foundation stone for future relations.
