Staff of Belarus’ Emergencies Ministry celebrates professional holiday

19 января 2017

President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the staff and veterans of the Emergencies Ministry’s agencies and departments on their professional holiday.

The Belarusian rescue service has highly qualified personnel and modern equipment at its disposal. Specialists of the 101 service successfully cooperate with foreign colleagues in terms of emergency prevention and response and study international experience in nuclear power plant protection. It is worth pointing out that an emergency response unit is one of the first facilities to have been built at the Belarusian nuclear power plant.

Ensuring security is the main task of the Emergencies Ministry’s employees. Today, the Belarusian rescuers provide help not only within the country, but can also operate anywhere in the world, if necessary.
