Belarus presented its experience in combating coronavirus infection at the Asian Forum in China. Our country joined the "The ASEAN-China Governors/ Mayors' Dialogue" at Hainan Island online. The forum featured China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines, with representatives from Belarus and South Korea as special guests. The meeting became a platform for analysing the best practices in combating COVID-19 and elaboration of recommendations for further development of countries and regions.
Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of Grodno Regional Executive Committee: "The issues raised at the Forum are really vital, they include further development of medicine, introduction of information technologies in medicine allowing it to be closer to patients, system of artificial intellect and development of economy in the post-Soviet period as well as improving transport accessibility, logistics, and restoring tourism. These issues are relevant for the whole world.This is the first time Belarus is taking part in a large-scale forum. Grodno Region received an invitation as a twin partner of China's Hainan Province".
