Lukashenko urges people of Netherlands to write modern history of Europe together with Belarusians and ensure secure future for their descendants

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on their national holiday – The King's Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"The Belarusians and the Dutch did not get rich natural resources and favorable climatic conditions, but we were able to ensure stable development of our states thanks to exceptional diligence and ingenuity, as well as openness for contacts and interaction. In today's difficult conditions we should listen and understand each other more attentively, respect the interests of the parties and strive for peaceful coexistence," the message of greetings reads.

Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that Belarus is aimed at preserving friendly relations, strengthening cooperation in culture, education, tourism, sports and especially in the economy, where the countries have significant achievements. "We invite you to write the modern history of Europe together with us, to ensure a secure future and prospects for normal development for our descendants through cooperation," the President said.

The Head of State wished peace, well-being and prosperity to all inhabitants of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
