African gold and diamonds, state quality mark and trade in rural areas - President answers questions from staff of Gomel-based enterprise Kristall

The visit of the President to a particular enterprise is not an excuse to limit itself to the internal production agenda. People can always ask anything about what is going on both in the country and in the world.

Alexander Lukashenko's conversation with the staff of the Kristall jewelry factory was no exception. The Belarusian economy is open to the world (with one condition: we are friends on equal terms, without preconditions and dictatorship). There are such partners! If not in the West, than in the East or in the South. African countries are among them.

In the context of Kristall, this partnership is gaining momentum. After all, the African market can become a reliable supplier of raw materials for the enterprise.

The Belarusian leader is sure that if there is a seller and a buyer, then no sanctions can interfere. "Sanctions are sanctions, but business is business," he said.

Alexander Lukashenko reminded that he forbade the government to even talk about sanctions. "It relaxes people, and then everything can be blamed on sanctions. It would relax the country," said the head of state. - Yes, it's not easy, it's hard. But we have survived. We have somewhere to sell our products. This is the most important thing."
