Governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that a woman was killed in the shelling of Belgorod by the AFU, BELTA writes.
"There has been shelling again. To our great sorrow, one person has died. I offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the dead woman. There are wounded," Gladkov wrote.
The deceased was walking in the street with her dogs. "The shell exploded next to her a few meters away - she died from the wounds on the spot. I express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased resident. Although I realize that no words can take away the pain of loss", - said the head of the region.
Gladkov also said that two more people were injured. "According to preliminary data, two people were injured: a woman has a shrapnel wound of the lower limb, a man has a closed craniocerebral injury. They were taken by ambulance crews to the city hospital No. 2, where doctors are providing them with all the necessary medical care," he wrote.
According to the head of the region, as a result of the air attack by the AFU in Belgorod, the glazing in 31 apartments, one private residential building and 4 health care facilities was damaged. Also 12 cars were damaged, 4 of them completely burned. In addition, 6 private houses, one outbuilding and 2 cars were damaged in Belgorod Region in the village of Maysky.
