About 9,000 children to be evacuated from Belgorod Region due to shelling

The authorities of the Belgorod Region decided to take out to other regions of the Russian Federation about 9 thousand children because of shelling by the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced by the region's governor Vyacheslav Gladkov at a meeting of the presidium of the United Russia general council, TASS reports.

"A large number of villages as of today we are resettling. Now we plan to remove about 9,000 children from Belgorod, Belgorod District, Shebekinsky District, Graivoronsky District. On March 22 about 1.2 thousand children will be evacuated to Penza, Tambov and Kaluga. Next is Stavropol Krai," he said.
