Ensuring law and order became the subject of a major government session at the Palace of Independence this week. In 10 years, the number of crimes has decreased by half, and it is one of the best indicators in the CIS. However, calls for extremism in social networks and terrorist threats remain relevant, and they must be countered. The issue of drug trafficking also requires more attention. More illegal substances are imported, and more people die from overdoses. In general, Alexander Lukashenko demanded from both the security forces and the government to work thoughtfully. We need to look forward, act and not wait for a directive from above. Simply put, we need results, not just reports on the heroism of a particular agency.
