President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko urged to keep peace and quiet in the country while visiting a church in Orsha on Easter holiday, BELTA reports.

"This year is special - it is the year of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of our Belarus from Nazi invaders. It is special for us as for no other nation, because during these years of fascist aggression Belarus did not exist. It was wiped off the face of the earth. And from the western to the eastern borders. Everything was destroyed. People survived only thanks to the fact that our nature, our forests hid them," said the head of state. - Is it possible to forget these labors, these heroic feats of our people? We can't do it!"

Addressing the residents of Orsha, the President noted that they have all the conditions for life - from fertile soil to a large number of enterprises.

"So many enterprises have been built in and around Orsha that there are not enough workers today. I have already said that we will not just think, but take large-scale actions to provide these enterprises with labor hands, i.e. there is a place to work. And there is an opportunity to earn for themselves and their children. The main thing is peace. This is already my problem. So let us, if time has chosen us, let us preserve this peace and quiet," summarized the head of state.
