Two months are left till the elections to the local Councils of Deputies. More than 4,000 applications for registration of initiative groups on nominating candidates have been submitted in the Mogilev region. More than half of them are in rural areas. Representatives of the Communist and United Civil Parties showed the greatest activity. The collection of signatures is also carried out during pickets on the streets.
Members of initiative groups can also collect signatures in apartments after showing their IDs and passports.
