An Indonesian parliamentary delegation, headed by Speaker of the Regional Representative Council of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Irman Gusman, is scheduled to hold a series of official meetings and visit a number of Belarusian enterprises and historical and cultural sites.
Belarus and Indonesia have strong trade and economic relations. Last year, the volume of mutual trade turnover amounted to 215 million dollars. A new impetus to cooperation was given by the Belarusian President’s visit to Indonesia in March 2013, which resulted in the signing of documents expanding cooperation in economy, science and the legal sphere. The total amount of the signed contracts is 400 million dollars.
