Interactive sessions organized by the partners of the Minsk Dialogue have been launched at Marriott Hotel. Among the partners are large and authoritative foreign funds from Europe and the USA.
The agenda includes the issues related to the Eastern European region. Today it is one of the epicenters of international tension. And here, Minsk has vital interest. Belarus is in the heart of Europe and is located between two powerful political centers. Therefore, our country is especially interested in preventing new conflicts and escalating existing ones.
Today, the forum will be joined by representatives of organizations that have a great influence on the geopolitical situation in the world and the stability of the region. They are Secretary General of the OSCE Thomas Greminger and NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs James Appathurai. Their speeches at the plenary session aroused particular interest. In total, the forum gathered around 400 leading experts and politicians from 50 countries around the world.
