Bust of the Uzbek writer Alisher Navoi unveiled in Minsk

The friendship of Belarus and Uzbekistan has gained a new symbol in the cultural sphere. A sculpture the 15th century poet, philosopher, thinker and statesman Alisher Navoi was solemnly opened in Minsk today. His world heritage includes more than 3 thousand lyric poems and scientific works in the medieval version of the Uzbek language.
