Lukashenko: Belarus attaches great importance to expanding ties with Cameroon

On behalf of the Belarusian people and on his own behalf, President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of Cameroon Paul Biya and the people of Cameroon on National Day of the Republic of Cameroon. This is reported by BELTA with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Your country has everything to continue unlocking its potential and actively develop. It is not for nothing that it is called Africa in miniature for the variety of landscapes, rich flora and fauna," reads the congratulatory message.

Belarus attaches great importance to the expansion of ties with Cameroon in all areas of joint interest, the head of state pointed out.

"I am sure that the intensification of cooperation in the fields of agriculture and food security, industry, healthcare, education, forestry, livestock farming meets the long-term interests of the two countries and will contribute to strengthening the traditionally friendly relations between our peoples," the President stressed.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Paul Biya good health and success in his responsible political post, and prosperity, peace and well-being to the people of Cameroon.
