Book of Condolences to open at Iranian Embassy in Belarus

In Belarus, the news about the tragic death of the President of Iran and a number of high-ranking leaders of this country was received with deep sorrow. The diplomatic mission expressed words of gratitude and appreciation to all Belarusians who share the pain of the Iranian people.

A book of condolences will be opened at the Iranian Embassy in Minsk from today. One can leave words of sorrow from 2 to 5 p.m., while on May 22 and 23 - from 10 to 12 noon and from 15:00 to 17:00. They can also be sent to the embassy's e-mail address.

Minsk citizens continue to carry flowers and candles to the Iranian Embassy in Belarus to honor the memory of those killed in the crash of President Ebrahim Raisi's helicopter. The flag was lowered on the building of the diplomatic mission.

The American-made helicopter, carrying Raisi and seven people, crashed in the mountains. All those on board died in the first moments after the disaster.
