On April 14, during his official visit to Algeria, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergei Aleinik was received by President of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
The Algerian head of state has received a message from President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko with specific proposals on the development of bilateral cooperation.
The parties have noted the constructive nature of Belarusian-Algerian relations and the coincidence of the two countries' positions on the majority of topical international issues, including the recognition of the diversity of ways of development of independent states.
The parties discussed a number of topics of bilateral cooperation and projects of industrial and technical cooperation. Separately, the sides touched upon the problems of interaction in the spheres of education, science, technology, healthcare and tourism. The need for further intensification of the whole range of contacts, including exchanges of visits at the highest and highest levels was emphasized.
