Engravings by modern authors are on display at an exhibition at the Centre for Contemporary Arts in Minsk. Artists develop new approaches to the traditional technique of etching, which is more than 5 centuries old. The technique of etching requires special skills and precise carving. The slightest mistake could practically destroy many hours of work of the artist.
All authors are recognized graphic artists from different countries: Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine.
