The Government has prepared a draft decree regulating relations in the sphere of road transportation of passengers. Possible innovations in this sphere became the topic of discussion at the meeting of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA informs.
It is proposed to organize a register of legal carriers, dispatchers and other participants of the process. "So that they didn't have any opportunities to escape from the rules," said the head of state. - "Who is not included in this register, is outlawed, his activities will be identified and suppressed by regulatory authorities."
"That is, if you are allowed to transport people by cabs and minibuses, you are in the register - go and drive. The rules will be set too. If you are not there and, God forbid, you are engaged in these transportations, the authorized law enforcement agencies will deal with you. It should be stopped in the most brutal way, so that they understood. But I'm saying once again: we shouldn't give them an excuse that "we've killed someone, we're hunting someone" and so on. Everyone who can, who has been allowed to work in these transportations - work, everyone is on an equal footing. A step to the left, a step to the right - the harshest punishment," explained the Belarusian leader.
