Vitebsk becomes first city in Belarus to get into the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities

This was announced by the Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Kravchenko. In fact, the learning city program creates new opportunities for career growth and changes in the employment sector, and also helps to develop the potential of residents.

Among the neighboring countries of Belarus there are learning cities in Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine. They participate in the international dialogue on politics, ecology, experimental research, as well as build an economy based on new knowledge. In general, the network brings together cities from more than 50 countries of the world.
