Dmitry Titov: Today only 5% of mobile gadgets of Belarusians support the network of 4th generation. High speed is available only for Minsk dwellers.

The launch of the fourth generation net is the result of the successful implementation of the investment projects and effective cooperation between the state and private business.

According to the developers, the average speed in LTE network in Minsk is about 30 megabits per second. But there are no restrictions for the subscribers. In 2016, the technology will come to the regional cities of Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev and in 2020 in regional centers and other towns with a population of not less than 50 thousand people.

The introduction of 4G will allow Belarus to strengthen its position in the ranking of information technology. LTE is available for use by all mobile operators. Thanks to mobile 4G-networks one can instantly send gigabytes of data with a high degree of protection against theft. For example, a file of 100 megabytes will be transmitted in just 4 seconds. LTE allows you sending real-time HD-video, a new era in mobile Internet television.
