CEC approves calendar plan of arrangements for preparing and holding referendum

The CEC approved the schedule of organizational activities for the preparation and conduct of the national referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.

"We have to complete the nomination of representatives to the territorial commissions until January 2022. The organization of polling stations is to be completed by February 1, while the nomination of representatives to the referendum commissions shall be made not later than February 3. We have to form the polling station commissions not later than 20 days before the referendum, that is not later than February 6," said the Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and National Referendums Igor Karpenko.
