In Belarus, the number of jobs with harmful working conditions is decreasing. Over the three years of the five-year plan, they have become less by almost 8%. About 60 thousand workplaces from harmful ones have moved to a healthy level. According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, one of the main directions in the work of the agency is to improve working conditions and increase wages. Thus, the growth rate of real wages in the country amounted to 111% in 2023.
More than 23 thousand Belarusians have already joined the program of savings for the second pension. It expands the opportunities to form additional savings. It provides financial incentives: state co-financing, the possibility of inheriting pension savings and guaranteeing their safety, as well as tax benefits.
