Countries open their borders to travelers

Countries, whose income is largely dependent on the service sector, open their borders for travelers. Greece was visited by 33 million tourists last year, for example. This year such figures should not be expected. Turkey, Egypt and Montenegro announced the start of the season. The EU focuses on domestic tourism.

Almost 200 Belarusians went on vacation to Tirana on Friday. Several more countries will be visited soon.

The travel agencies rescheduled or canceled the tours.  Now they return to their usual work, as demand has increased again.

Minimum prepayment and insurance in case of virus infection are common for the tourist market this summer. Travel safety is a priority. The list of recommendations for hotels includes dozens of items: from disinfection to social distance. 

Air traffic will come to the usual regime. Planes from Minsk to Albania will now fly more often, three times a week. Charters to Egypt and Turkey are expected to be made in July. Bulgaria, Greece and Montenegro will be among tourist destinations soon. All flights obey to the sanitary safety standards.

Albania and Turkey welcome tourists without visas and certificates of the absence of Covid-19. Greece is ready to test all incoming tourists. 9 research centers will operate across the country to take tests on a paid basis. The express survey showed that Belarusians are still suspicious of vacations abroad. Many farmsteads and health resorts reoriented to the domestic market.
