The special train UN-70 Express has made a week-long trip to the regional cities of our country. The action was attended by 200 people: diplomats, artists, athletes and media representatives. Declarations of sustainable development were signed in every city.
None of the 193 UN member countries celebrates the 70th anniversary of the United Nations in this way.
UN-70 Express is a joint initiative of the UN Office in Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Throughout the week about 250 events took place in eight cities of Belarus. And the train turned into an educational center.
An entire curriculum for students and experienced professionals was developed during the train’s journey around Belarus. Seminars, workshops, videos, discussions and debates were held in Belarusian regional centers. Authoritative experts shared their invaluable experience.
