The situation on the Lithuanian border remains tense after the neighboring country with Belarus closed the next two checkpoints. The queue of trucks is not moving.
It seems that the Lithuanian border guards are deliberately creating a traffic jam, because according to the norms it is necessary to process half a thousand vehicles in each direction. That is, with normal work it is possible to unload the crossings.
Moreover, the closed checkpoints were vacated by the staff, and they could be redirected to the existing ones, as it was done by the Belarusian side.
Drivers from different countries are standing in line both to enter and leave Lithuania. They are not only Belarusians, but also Lithuanians themselves, as well as cars from Moldova, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Latvia.
