The innovations are spelled out in the decree On measures to improve auditing (oversight) activities. The main principle is eliminating planned inspections and introducing fines for the inspectors themselves for unreasonable inspections. In the past 7 years, the number of inspections of economic entities has decreased by 5 times. In 2010, there were almost 230 thousand inspections. In 2016, the number was about 120 thousand. In the past 9 months of 2017, it is less than 50 thousand.
