The flight to the International Space Station will be held under a two-day approach scheme. It is expected that the ship with a crew consisting of commander Oleg Novitsky, Belarusian Marina Vasilevskaya and NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson will dock to the universal node module "Prichal" of the Russian segment of the station on March 25 at 18:10 Minsk time.

With a two-day scheme, the ship makes 34 turns around the Earth. During this time it needs to rise from its lower trajectory to the station's orbit and start the approach. In this case, the orbital complex all this time moving at its own speed. Mission Control Center conducts special calculations of the orbit and gives maneuvers that allow the apparatus to eventually "catch up" ISS. The docking itself takes place on the 34th revolution.

For the maneuver is responsible for the computer, but in the event of an emergency situation, the commander of the ship must take control in his own hands.

By the way, the return of Oleg Novitsky, Marina Vasilevskaya, as well as NASA astronaut Laurel O'Hara on the ship "Soyuz MS-24" is scheduled for April 6.
