Crowds of people attend Budslav Icon of the Mother of God

They came to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the presence of icon on the Belarusian land. It was taken from Rome in 1613, first to Minsk and then to Budslav. The first cases of its healing power were recorded in the 17th century. During the war the front line passed through Budslav 3 times, but none of the shells hit the church. The cathedral didn't close for a single day. Even at the time of atheism people were coming here. A copy of the icon was made and during 3 years it was demonstrated in all Catholic churches of Belarus.
