Launch of Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft with Belarusian Marina Vasilevskaya on board takes place at Baikonur

The Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft with Belarusian Marina Vasilevskaya on board was launched at Baikonur, BelTA reports.

The crew of the 21st expedition consisting of Oleg Novitsky, Roscosmos cosmonaut, Marina Vasilevskaya from Belarus, and Tracy Dyson, NASA astronaut, set off for the International Space Station from Baikonur Cosmodrome.

The backup crew consists of cosmonaut "Roscosmos" Ivan Vagner, participant of the space flight Belarusian Anastasia Lenkova and NASA astronaut Donald Pettit.

The return of Oleg Novitsky, Marina Vasilevskaya, as well as NASA astronaut Loral O'Hara, who is now on the ISS, is scheduled for April 6.
