Honoring medical professionals across the country on the eve of their professional holiday started in the capital. More than 120 specialists of Minsk healthcare institutions and republican research and practice centers received honored awards and letters of gratitude for their significant personal contribution to the provision of medical care to the population in the Reception Hall of the Palace of the Republic. The best in their field were awarded honorary diplomas from the Presidential Administration, both Houses of Parliament and the Government by Natalia Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic. Dozens of awards were also presented by the Ministry of Health (badges, diplomas and letters of commendation).

Dmitry Pinevich, Minister of Health of Belarus:

It is extremely difficult to compare the city of Minsk with other regions, because it is a region with more workload and more responsibility. From our point of view we have fully expressed our gratitude to each employee of the health care system, because from our point of view they have fulfilled everything that their professional code of honor prescribes.

Those who save lives were also honored in Brest. More than 50 employees of large health care facilities and small outpatient clinics of the region were awarded. They were presented with awards from the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Health and the National Assembly in a festive atmosphere. Brest Region is one of the leading places in the health care system of the country. It carries out high-tech operations, as well as organizes pilot projects in the field of medicine in Belarus. The awards ceremonies will continue today.
