Minsk celebrates its 947th birthday

The warm holiday weekend gathered in the streets of the capital, not only Belarusians, but also visitors from abroad. Dozens of venues have opened in virtually every corner of Minsk presenting street performances, power extreme, the city of craftsmen and rhythms of rock 'n' roll, reconstruction of historical battles and knight festival. Traditionally, the winners of Minsk resident of Year were congratulated on the City Day. This year, 14 people got the title. The most spectacular moment of the weekend was the first national championship in ballooning. No less striking was the show Urban biathlon with Daria Domracheva.
