Lukashenko: Everything will be done to make Belarusian-made airplanes take to the skies as soon as possible

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated civil aviation workers on their professional holiday and the 90th anniversary of civil aviation, BelTA reports.

"The Belarusian aviation industry today is a perfectly organized structure, which has a great scientific and technical potential, is constantly improving and solving serious multifaceted tasks. Passenger and cargo transportation is carried out, air harbors operate. Modern production sites have been created and are successfully developing, where maintenance and repair of any Soviet, Russian and foreign airplanes have been mastered," the message of congratulations reads.

The head of state pointed out that all this has become possible thanks to the high qualifications of the industry's workers - real specialists who are in love with the sky and their profession. The President addressed special words of gratitude to the veterans: "Your experience and aspiration for new things have made it possible to realize the most daring projects," he said.

"I am convinced that everything will be done to make sure that the ambitious plans to develop civil aviation in the country will come true and Belarusian-made airplanes will take to the skies as soon as possible," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.

The President wished the employees, veterans of civil aviation and their families good health, prosperity and cloudless happiness.
