Safe environment for children at home can be seen in "model centers"

Smothering with small objects is one of the main causes of tragedies associated with children. Coins and batteries are number one on the list of hazards. These data were announced during the joint action of the Ministry of Health and UNICEF "Piggy Bank of Health".

Kirill Marakhovsky, head of the diagnostic department of the Russian Center for Pediatric Surgery: "If a child swallows a battery and this battery is charged, then the probability that the child will become disabled is very high."

Parents will be able to see with their own eyes what a safe environment for children at home should be in special "model centers". There are already 10 of them in the country, and it is planned to open 7 more by the middle of 2020.
