The situation at checkpoints on the border with the EU has aggravated. According to the State Border Committee of Belarus, more than 2.5 thousand trucks are waiting to enter the EU.
The busiest is the Lithuanian direction, where there are more than 2 thousand vehicles. Over the past day, the control services of "Myadinka" (from the Belarusian side it's "Kamenny Log") took only 16% of the plan. This is more than six times less than the set one. At other European checkpoints on the border with our country, the norms are not more than half. Belarusian border guards are ready to process the maximum number of trucks, if the neighboring party will work with their capabilities," noted in the Border Committee.
On March 1, Lithuania unilaterally closed two checkpoints on the border with Belarus - "Privalka" and "Kotlovka".
