More than 90 representatives of various spheres of activity have been honored with state awards. The corresponding decree №40 was signed by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on February 2, reports BelTA with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.
They have been awarded orders, medals and honorary titles for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, courage and bravery, shown when rescuing people during a fire, merits in strengthening public order and fighting crime, protection of the state border, significant personal contribution to the military-patriotic education of the younger generation, improvement of legislation, tax and judicial systems, development and modernization of military and special equipment, development of the potash industry, woodworking and forestry industries, as well as the development of the Belarusian economy.
