Two new sports facilities planned to be opened in Minsk in 2024

Two new sports and fitness centers are planned to be opened in Minsk, reports BELTA. The work on the facilities will be carried out in 2024, Dmitry Shavruk, general director of Akva-Minsk PMC, told at an operative meeting in the mayor's office.

"We are realizing several new projects: the construction of a fitness and recreational complex is underway on Y. Lucрina St., a sports and recreation center is being designed on Kazimirovskaya St.," confirmed Dmitry Shavruk.

The projects include 25-meter pools, swimming pools for children, bathing complexes, gyms, cafes.

Chairman of Minsk city executive committee Vladimir Kukharev instructed district administrations and construction organizations to intensify construction. Funding has been allocated. "Such facilities are in demand," said Vladimir Kukharev.

Also, "Aqua-Minsk" plans to expand the recreation area in the area of the Drozdy reservoir in 2024, which includes 19 cabins for round-the-clock accommodation and a cafe.

In total, the structure of the company includes seven facilities, including Lebyazhy water park, Serebryanka sports and recreation center on K. Marksa Street, multifunctional complex Mandarin, medical and tennis centers, and a group of hotels.
