A little more than a month is left until the single day of voting in Belarus. The situation in the country is calm. Should we expect the revival of opponents during the presidential race? Who benefits from driving a wedge between Belarus and Russia? And should we regard the largest for decades NATO exercise "Resilient Defender - 2024" as a threat to our security? All these questions will be answered by political scientist Vadim Borovik.
One thing is clear - in the most complicated geopolitical situation everyone has a request for peace. We should be strong and stable, then it will be impossible to force us to do what we do not agree with. Belarus' policy is to build its own strategy of development and national security.
Vadim Borovik:
We must not allow ourselves to be destroyed from within. If we have a weak economy, mutual distrust in society, if we are not united, we will be destroyed from within, and then we will become a tool in someone else's geopolitical game. What does the average person think? You tell me about the Middle East, Russia, Germany. How can I influence? You can influence here, in your own country, hear what the authorities want you to say. Don't participate in any extremist activities, fulfill your duties, live a normal life. Let's keep stability inside, then it will be easier for the government and the first person of the country to achieve the main thing - peace.
