God helped Belarus in 2020, otherwise there would have been war. This was stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of Belarus, reports BelTA.
"God helped us in 2020 (we are talking about the failed attempt of rebellion). If we had not stood up then, there would have been a war here. They would have brought NATO troops here. Imagine Russia's reaction - NATO troops near Smolensk. It would have been a nuclear war," the President said. - We stood our ground. God helped. Not the President running around with a machine gun, with a child... No one. God, he just protected us."
"Today the situation is even more dangerous. It is more dangerous because we do not see it. Half of us don't see it. And I, too, with more information. So we must be careful. We're walking on thin ice. One wrong step and we will fall through. No one will save us," warned the Belarusian leader.
