Belarus sends humanitarian aid to flood-affected areas of Ukraine

This morning, a humanitarian cargo left Belarus for Ukraine, where at the end of June, 5 regions were affected by floods. In total, the disaster affected more than 150 settlements, 3 people died, houses, bridges and more than 100 kilometers of roads were destroyed. By the decision of the President of our country, Belarus has sent 30 tons of the required cargo. 

Anatoly Dolgolevets, Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations of Belarus: "These are diesel generators, equipment for emergency response. Ivano-Frankivsk Region was affected  the most. We have a proven route, we know where to go. Colleagues from the border committee, customs meet us, accompany us".

Help will arrive at the unloading site in Lviv today, around 4pm. This is not the first humanitarian mission to Ukraine.
